Project Overview
Webspires designed and developed the official student society website for Man Met Entrepreneurs, the entrepreneurship society at Manchester Metropolitan University. The society helps students turn ideas into real ventures through workshops, networking events and guest speakers. We handled the full project: planning, web design, development, content structure and launch.
The Brief
A student society lives or dies by engagement. Man Met Entrepreneurs needed one central home online that could:

Mission-Led Homepage
The homepage introduces the society's purpose, to inspire and support the entrepreneurial spirit of Man Met students, with live statistics on members and ventures to show the community's impact at a glance.
Events and Programmes
An events section promotes the society's full programme, from skill-building workshops, hackathons and guest speaker sessions to LinkedIn masterclasses, branding and marketing sessions, and social mixers.
Team and Success Stories
Dedicated pages introduce the committee and highlight student success stories and testimonials, showing new members what the society can help them achieve.
Sponsors and Partners
A partnerships section showcases more than 20 partner organisations, giving sponsors visibility and encouraging new businesses to get involved.
Membership, Donations and Contact
Clear routes for membership sign-up and donations, plus a contact form and newsletter signup, turn interested visitors into active members and supporters.
Event Gallery and Social Integration
A photo gallery of past activities, from consultancy workshops to bowling socials and scavenger hunts, brings the community to life, while social links keep the website connected to the society's Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Technology
The website is built on WordPress with the Elementor page builder, so each new committee can update events, blog posts and team profiles without technical help. It is fully responsive for students browsing on their phones.
The Outcome
Man Met Entrepreneurs now has a professional, engaging website that represents the society to students, partners and sponsors across Manchester. It brings events, membership, partners and success stories together in one place and gives the society a platform to keep growing its community year after year.
